| Agenda Highlights: IBC building code firestopping requirements are being enforced on construction projects at an ever-increasing rate. Specified Technologies Inc., an industry leader in developing fire protection systems, will be leading a discussion on the basics of the firestopping for framing contractors and engineers, with an emphasis on firestopping coordination and specific details in cold-formed steel framed assemblies. This presentation will demonstrate how to avoid failed inspections and costly change orders by identifying the correct UL systems for your project. You will also learn about engineered judgements, special requirements when firestopping shaft walls, and recent innovative developments in firestopping. |
