This is the next installment in our ongoing series of seminars focusing on the “Evolution of the CFS Framing Industry”, showcasing products and services that take the generic commodity CFS framing we all know and have been using for years and have improved upon them, taking them to the next level. This series runs periodically among our normal dinner meetings. This seminar will focus on two national manufacturers, who took the concept of general mechanical fastening and elevated it with their unique products for pneumatic pins for connection of floor, wall and roof sheathing, as well as fastening of CFS stud to track and track to steel and concrete. These pins offer many valuable efficiencies in construction, as well as comparable and competitive capacity values to other currently prevalent mechanical fasteners, such as screws and power actuated fasteners. Each of our two manufactures will discuss their product and how it came to be developed, then there will be a panel discussion at which time the attendees can ask questions of the panel.
