This is the next installment in our ongoing series of seminars focusing on the “Evolution of the CFS Framing Industry”, showcasing products and services that take the generic commodity CFS framing we all know and have been using for years and have improved upon them, taking them to the next level. This series runs periodically among our normal dinner meetings.
This seminar will focus on three national manufacturers, who took the concept of general sheathing and elevated it with their unique products for floor, wall and roof sheathing. Instead of just gypsum-based drywall for architectural finishes, you can now use these and other innovative sheathing products to also be part of the structure’s lateral stability system, achieve higher fire ratings and provide additional structural strength.
Each of our three manufactures will discuss their product and how it came to be developed, then there will be a panel discussion at which time the attendees can ask questions of the panel.
